PERRYSVILLE, Ind. -- Donald Albert Hall, 60, died at 2 p.m. Friday (Dec. 12, 1969) at his residence at Covington Route 2. He had been in ill health six months. Mr. Hall was born June 25, 1909, in Cayuga, son of Columbus Andrew and Floy Ellen Glick Hall. He married Effie Madelyn Sigler on May 31, 1930. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Straughn of Perrysville; a step-son, Herschel Sams of Covington Route 1; two brothers, Floyd and Russell, both of Covington Route 1; a sister, Mrs. Olive Jones of Covington Route 1; one granddaughter; six step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A resident of Wabash Township most of his life, Mr. Hall, a former farmer and carpenter, had operated the Marathon Station in Perrysville the past six years. He had also been a school bus driver for 16 years. He was a member of the Perrysville Volunteer Fire Department and the Carpenter's Local in Danville, Ill. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Monday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with the Rev. William Rudd officiating. Burial will be in Lower Mound Cemetery.
